The beautiful inn has been decorated with Victorian antiques, collectibles, Ice Palace mementos, antique quilts and Kami’s own stained glass. Some rooms have views of Mount Massive and Turquoise Lake, and all have feather beds and private baths.

Afternoon teas, coffee, hot chocolate and goodies are available daily and can be enjoyed in the Parlor in front of the fireplace or in the Game Room where there is always a puzzle in progress and an assortment of board games available.

Summer and fall activities include: sailing, a trip on the highest standard gauge railroad in the country, biking, hiking, golf, fishing, carriage rides, historical tours, white water rafting, horseback riding, boating, hot air balloon rides, gold panning, museums, antique browsing, shopping, tennis, swimming, running and bicycle races, art and music festivals.

Winter activities include: skiing (x-country and downhill), sleigh rides, ice skating, snowmobiling, sledding, snow shoeing, ice fishing, antique browsing, shopping and museums.

Grand Ballroom
Each of our unique guest rooms, named after the original rooms of the Ice Palace, are elegantly decorated with antiques, quilts, feather beds*, private baths, robes, hair dryers, umbrellas, an extra heater for the winter and a fan for the summer, and complimentary bath products—enjoy!
* Feather beds are easily removed for guests with allergies or personal preference. Please let us know when making your reservation.

Enjoy a delicious gourmet breakfast Guests may begin the day with a delicious gourmet breakfast served at their convenience in the dining room. The varied menu includes just-baked breads, fresh fruit, and such entrees as German Apple Pancakes, Banana Peach Cream-filled Crepes or Stuffed French Toast, topped off with a fresh fruit smoothie.

  • As the second and third floors are fully carpeted, no shoes are allowed. Please remember to bring your slippers.
  • Reservations guaranteed by a 50% (100% of one-night and holiday visits) deposit due 14 days after making the reservation. The balance plus tax is due upon arrival.
  • Personal checks, Traveler’s Checks and cash welcome Discover, Master Card, Visa, Diners Club or American Express accepted
  • There is a $25 service charge for reservations cancelled more than 30 days in advance.
  • Deposits on reservations less than 30 days in advance of arrival will be refunded if the reservation is re-rented, less the $25 service charge.
