Mineral Belt Trail: This paved pathway loops the city of Leadville, traveling through aspen groves, conifer forests, wild flower meadows, open vista sage parks and meanders through the historic Leadville Mining District. The Mineral Belt Trail is a 12.5 mile all-season non-motorized route designed for bicycles, walkers, wheelchairs, strollers and in-line skaters. Wintertime enthusiasts will find the trail snow-cat groomed, affording freestyle and classic nordic skiing, snowshoeing and winter biking. Unique Dining Recommendation: Tennessee Pass Cookhouse is a very unique dining adventure. Located at Ski Cooper, you will hike, snowshoe or ski aone mile groomed to the yurt where you will enjoy a four course gourmet dinner and spectacular sceanery, as both Mount Elbert and Mount Massive can be seen from the cookhouse, not to mention star filled skies as you return from the yurt.
